Pneumatic coil nail gun working principle

A nail gun is a precision tool consisting of two main parts: the receiver and the magazine assembly. The receiver primarily includes the housing, a robust shell housing a cylinder for storing and releasing compressed air; a recoil mechanism ensures rapid reset after firing. The trigger assembly and firing pin assembly (also known as the muzzle) work together; controlled by the trigger, the firing pin reciprocates within the cylinder, generating power. A buffer ensures smooth operation, the muzzle precisely feeds the nail to its working position, and the safety assembly provides additional safety.

 

The magazine assembly is responsible for storing and releasing the nails. It includes a nail pusher, a fixed magazine to hold the nail, and a movable magazine that, through a compression or tension spring, feeds the nail into a slot in the magazine. When the firing pin propels forward from the muzzle, it triggers this action, accurately ejecting the nail to complete each nailing operation.

 

This ingenious design incorporates aerodynamic principles, enabling the coil nail gun to exhibit high efficiency and precision in construction, furniture manufacturing, and other applications, making it a powerful tool in many handicrafts and industrial operations.
