What could be the reason why a coil nailing machine can be jogged but not started?

The following are reasons why a starter motor may fail to start:
Excitation power supply failure or disconnection causing main circuit lockup.
Protection system not properly adjusted or locked.
Cooling system not started first.
Control system malfunction.
Input motor cable breakage.
Overload.
Fuel supply system issues: Low-pressure fuel line blockage, loose or leaking lines, air in high-pressure fuel lines, poor injector condition, incorrect injection timing.
Starting device issues: Power supply failure, poor contact of the solenoid switch, poor contact between the starter motor commutator and brushes, clutch slippage in the starter motor transmission mechanism.
Insufficient cylinder compression pressure: Damaged cylinder head gasket causing air leakage, valves not closing properly causing air leakage, worn piston and cylinder liner causing air leakage.
Insufficient air intake: A clogged air filter can prevent an engine from starting. For diesel vehicles, first turn the ignition key to check if the starter motor is running normally. If it is, check if there is fuel in the high-pressure fuel line. If not, check if the fuel tank is empty or if air has entered the fuel lines. If so, the following possibilities exist: malfunctioning fuel injectors or multiple injectors not working; cylinder pressure not reaching the minimum starting requirement; multiple valves leaking or jammed; severely damaged timing gears; incorrect fuel pump injection timing; or a damaged fuel pump. For gasoline vehicles, first disconnect the fuel inlet and starter motor to check if fuel supply is normal. If normal, disconnect the high-voltage wire to check if the high-voltage ignition is normal. If normal, remove the spark plugs and check. If the spark plugs are working normally, check if the timing belt is broken. If normal, measure the cylinder pressure. If all of the above are normal, check if the main sensors are malfunctioning (e.g., the crankshaft position sensor).
